By making the %s low you're essentially drawing out the time it takes for people to farm the items that they would've normally payed for. All this is doing is moving the problem.
You are discouraging exploits by making the chances slim, but anyone determined enough could easily get a free gold box in one afternoon, all by smashing the easy missions, and letting their health regenerate vs the last buggy. Do that process twice a week (Saturday and Sunday, when most people have free time) for 52 weeks, and that 104 gold boxes worth of tokens Tacticsoft just gave away. For free
Maybe have it so these chances only occur in missions bought with keys, but still that's a lot of missions.
You do know that not all players have a Healing Drone Hmm? This cannot be abused as the percentage seems low. And by your ways of seeing "People determined enough could easily get a gold box", seems not true.
Look, not all people will have 300-600 hp remaining in a mission. I mean think about it! Not all players are experienced enough to make a mech that will have 600 hp remaining in a mission. The highest hp I had remained was roughly around 583 hp. Although there aren't any guarantees that the Campaign AI's will have low damage weapons.
This is also one way to motivate players to work hard for something you want. Not some cows opening up they're wallets and buy all the golden boxes they want. Consideration for players who will literally do anything for free Golden Item boxes.
Fine, since you want everything to be balanced, I will do tweaks.
1. Only 10 Infinite Missions can be done in a day.
2. No repair drones or kits allowed
PS. Nothing is "Gave away". You earned it. There aren't gold boxes you can get for free. You technically paid your time on getting a gold box. And not all players are that lucky on these type of things.
