Hey guys, while taking "Programming 1" in school one of the requirements for the game we're working on is to have an easter egg cheat built into the menu.
That got me wondering why the heck doesn't SuperMechs have any easter eggs?! If you don't know what an "Easter egg" is (apart from the obvious literal meaning), it's a hidden function or part of a video game (often in the form of a cheat, achievement or recognition of discovery) used for easier testing by a developer or to heighten the experience the player has when playing.
I haven't seen
any eggs in SuperMechs in my entire time playing, which is really odd in my opinion. Why not add a couple? Only instances I've seen are the Liranium items (Liran being the name of the main developer) and a small chance of fighting a computer mech named "WarrMachine".
Even something as simple as typing in the konami code at the menu screen to unlock an achievement giving coins or a few tokens would be awesome.
Here are a few more "complex" suggestions.
- Adding a black color kit to an item that is level +10 fusion or higher ("shiny black") gives an achievement, "Dull Apparence" giving 5000 SM.
- Computer players have a 1% chance of having the loadout last used (in their tournament) by the player who last received a first, second, or third place weekly indiv medal. Example - "Example player" used a dual Novas build for their last match in the tournament they won 2nd place in, so now 1% of the time you will fight that mech in a champaign mech battle.
- Typing in "Liran" after buying the "Liranium" item gives 10 tokens.
- Typing in "Ilona" at the workshop menu puts a sureshot into your inventory with the name "Ilonator" (based off the Facebook contest) that has a special color to it, not obtainable via color kits, example color... Shiny Red

Must be level 25 or higher for it to work.
- Typing in "Kits" at the packages menu guarentees the next normal item box you buy will only have kits inside. Works 5 times. Gives 5 tokens after all 5 times have been completed.
- Searching for an online battle and canceling 10 times in a row gives an achievement, "Undesicive" giving 10,000 SM and 10 tokens.
The following list will be updated if I think of any more or want to change any. All easter eggs giving an achievement are hidden in the achievement menu, you won't even know they exist until you perform the actions required to receive it.
So what do you think? Vote and leave any eggs you think would cool to find!
