Sometimes when I play I get matched with a player that has high heat dealing weapons. It's abused because once they over heat you too high both your turn go away to shut down. they reapeat this and win. I think that it should be nerfed in a way or at least fixed somehow. Can this please be fix or nefted so we coan stop the abuse.

It's a simple strategy in the game. My guess is that you are probably a physical build based on this complaint. Overheating can definitely be dealt with however if you build your mech to face it. Make sure you mech is equipped with good cooling as well as high heat capacity. To help even more, avoid using weapons/drones that add to your heat. It's all about how you build. Of course, making these adjustments will mean sacrificing in other areas. Whether it be your hp, your damage capacity, your ammo capacity, w/e. But fixing your mech to be good against 1 type often means that you become weak against another.

Heat is one strategy in this game.

You have to build a mech with a well done mix of enough HP to fight physics, enough heat-capacity and cooling to get not overheated and the same for nrg.
(or just use weapons that don't need nrg)

I play a heater myself and I can't count the times I met mechs with 700+ HP but NO heat-module. Best one was over 900 HP but 20 cooling. All your HP are useless when you never come to action.

But I also meet players the other way. Guy with 126 cooling and 260 heat-capacity was the "worst" so far. No chance for me to overheat this guy.
But guess what?
This wasn't necessary, cause he just had under 400 HP.

The whole mech-building-process is finding reasonable compromises.

Sure I would like to have more HP, it's my wish everytime I meet a physic.
But after every lost fight against a nrg-mech I spend ages on thinking how I could get more nrg-capacity and regain on my mech, without losing more HP.
Oh, and don't forget my heat. I produce a lot heat to myself. A bigger capacity and cooling would be nice too, to give me this little advantage when fighting other heaters...

That's how this game works.
Build a mech that does well against any other set-up.

But because you have to make compromises, you will always meet some extreme-builds where you will lose.

There are still physics out there, that do so much dmg so fast, that my HP aren'd enough.
There are still heaters out there, that prodices so much heat, that my cooling is still not good enough to get not overheated.
There are still nrg-builds out there, that drains this little bit more than the others...
