Before you read any of this, understand that I'm saying it as a player and this isn't coming from the devs or any of the SM team. I'm just curious as to what people think of the idea.

So basically every 2 weeks there is a dungeon. These dungeons will be single player matches, where you have to fight multiple mechs to clear the dungeon. They won't be easy at all, and will require a lot of effort and planning to complete. They will require you to find a suitable counter for the mech, and the need for kits to have a chance of beating them. In other words a very difficult set of games, which only the smartest of players would have a chance of defeating.

Here comes the juicy part. If you're able to beat a dungeon, you're rewarded with one mythical item. The reasoning for this, is the only players that are going to be able to beat dungeons are those that have either paid towards the game or "THOSE THAT HAVE PUT A LOT OF TIME AND EFFORT IN TO THE GAME." Certain players that are unable to pay towards the game, unfortunately do miss out on mythicals. However if they're truly dedicated to the game they will acquire enough parts to compete in these dungeons. Sure it won't be easy, but it gives these kinds of players a fighting chance for mythical items.

TL;DR
Every other week, you're challenged with a very difficult dungeon. If you're able to defeat it, you're rewarded with a mythical item.

Yes, I like this idea :D

It'd be a fun way to introduce more players to mythical's that won't simply hand it to them. However, I would also say each mech beaten should give smaller reward (more SM coins than avg and perhaps 1 random item that's not mythical). Basically, make the overall journey worth it (mythical) but also make those who are building up still able to at least try to push through part of it for some rewards. That'd be my only real tweak.

Very nice idea there. :) I have no mythicals, so this could be a chance for me to get them. :D Gift keys seem to avoid giving me mythicals in gold boxes. -_-

There would be some difficulty to this. To keep dungeons interesting it would have to be a different challenge every week. Say for one week, you could just have one super Goliath. The second week, you could have a couple mechs each with its own weakness. Then the next you could be forced to fight 10-20 very weak mechs continuously and withstand against this. It would be difficult to add milestones for these different situations.

(I know I didn't mention this, but there would need to be variation to keep dungeons interesting).

I can't make good decisions/tweaks if you don't give me all the info Andy!!

But fair enough. With that being the case, it'd be difficult to dish rewards out if the circumstances for the completion changes so often. Shame though!

We don't all like writing paragraphs of text :D Much prefer to get the general idea across to players rather than confuse them with so many different possibilities and bore them with a massive block of text :P

Very good itea, one tweak Ide like to add on to Malice's...

Players that complete the dungeon without mythicals should get a better reward than the players that do.

For example,

Beat dungeon without mythicals ~ Random mythical item, 5,000 power kit, and 10,000 SM.

Beat dungeon with mythical(s) ~ One card (like in boxs) with 75% chance of mythical and 25% chance of legendary, and a 3,000 power kit.

This way you need to make a strong, stategic mech to get a better reward. :)

WHAT?! I don't understand what you mean? Massive walls of text are necessary to give a player full details about a suggestion/plan. Otherwise, players may think that you are incompetent and can't think of the possible issues you may run into. Though, then you do run into those who simply don't read all your hard work and make silly statements about the exact issues you explained your counters to in said wall of text. This reminds me of a story that I have! One time, after I made a really long topic, people made fun of me by posting a topic dedicated to me with tl;dr youtube videos. Honestly, right now, I'm having a tough time thinking of more filler to put into this wall of text (that really isn't that big of a textwall yet). I think imma just do a stream of consciousness style of writing to keep this facade up. You know, I like cherries, they're delicious! Random, yes, but I don't care. Best fruit ever. If anyone disagree's with me, I will fight them (if it's on SM though, i'll probably lose  ). Boy oh boy, that took up like, 3 more lines! This is going great! Though now what to talk about? Hmmmm, hrrmmmmmmm, ok, i think i'm done with this. I feel like looking at webcomics or something instead of working right now :| That's probably not a good thing. I'm a horrible employee sometimes...

 Sorry, I couldn't resist making a wall of text. ;)

I'm all for this idea it could act something for the single player mode and I for one really really want the single player fleshed out a bit not just because it would make the game overall better but from a product perspective as SM is picking up in the mobile department so therefore single player i think is a big must. Also may i suggest dungeons of different difficulty at which either battle credits or SM coins are required to enter as I believe that this would encourage more players to go for the higher aspect and create more of a risk and rewards scenario which does create more of a thrill factor. This idea could also work with a variety of the challenges that already exist in the game (god mode, invisible mech etc). However I personally would like to see more of these challenges maybe defeat this opponent in x amount of moves.
I do like the idea of giving out mythicals but these dungeons would have to be very very hard for these to happen if not you could always reward players with gold boxes to help them compete with the boosters a little better.Overall i like the idea however i believe that a few tweaks will need to be made (in terms of mythicals given out or not) however as an idea i believe that it brings new possibilities to the game and this particular idea could help enhance the single player as at the moment in my opinion at the moment it is a little bland.

Just thought I would join in the fun!!!
