Honestly this is the dumbest suggestion ive ever read on this forum and the dumbest I probably will ever read on it...

The whole -removed- point of an energy build is do what? Oh idk, DRAIN ENERGY.
The energy builds do both of the things you just suggested, they disable weapons that use energy by draining it.

I myself are so strongly supporting to keep the energy builds the same isn't because I use one, which I don't, I use a physical, but because energy builds are slowly dying off and I want to see them thrive a bit more. Most of my losses come from great energy mechs built by people like FcSony and roccotano4, which are defintly the best of the best.

You clearly struggle with energy, so why not get an energy modual? Many rank 1s like myself have found it very weight efficeint to slap on two 21 regeneration moduals onto a galaxsus torso and call it a day.

Heres a tip, use regeneration moduals! An energy build won't struggle to drain you to zero energy, but it becomes hard for them to get the bonus damage when your energy regeneration is high.

WarMachine, try be careful the way you word things. No suggestion is a "dumb" suggestion. In fact, in an older version of supermechs (battlemechs) there were weapons that disabled enemy weapons, similar to the suggestion above. Also the use of swear words really isn't necessary.

As for the suggestion, it's not a bad one, but shouldn't be one to replace energy all together. Instead maybe a separate weapon that does what you've suggested. As it stands right now, energy weapons are only decent enough to use because of the possibility of draining your enemy energy and gaining the extra damage through that. Without this energy weapons would become a lot weaker.
