So basically you would be able to write a bio in your profile.. where it's just a short message that people can see in your profile.. Like in battle dawn there's a bio and it would be good in super mechs.. it'd allow people to advertise their number.. help people go to the forums.. etc.. It's just a small thing that would be extremely cool to have..

and the bio
also i think since we are working on profiles we should put in a player search by name/rank and be able to message players in game.
if i need to put this in a new suggestion let me know but i think this all fits in yours since it's profile setup

I agree, those all should be included; although W/L percentage is the most excludable from the list, because if something does have to go, that can be calculated on from the W/L record.

Voted no as this idea could create abusive language arguments between players, advertising etc.

And due to supermechs is trying to run with minimal to zero admin input except for crashes and bugs etc. Then I'm afraid its a no as this would need to include a report section then reports would need to be checked creating more work for admins.

Yes I know that is available however you have to consider this doesn't solve people advertising other things or using insulating biographies towards other players and because the aim of supermechs is a game that doesn't require any admin work and adding in biographies destroys that purpose and this is the exact reason why messages and chats are not implemented into the game.

But could there be a bio that has information solely generated via developers input, without individual contributions? adns126, this would not create any of the aforementioned problems that you voted on, and could at least give people some knowledge about other players without causing any liability issues. The only reason this would not work is if the devs do not want to go through the trouble, but as I just said, there could not be any liability issues because users could not input anything.

^ If the system was like this then it would be fine and I would agree with it as it does solve the problem of the negatives that I am stating. But this is the only way that it would ever be put in due to the way the admins/developers want the game to run.
