Okay here's a bit of backstory.
My player name is qazxcwe and I'm level 26 on supermechs.
I've been playin for roughly five days and I have encountered many problems with the game which have tempted me to quit playing until the game is out of beta but I have stayed because the game is so addictive. :D
The problems I encountered were the following:

#1 Heat Vs Energy.
From what I can see heat is the king of the hill.
I use an energy build because I thought using energy would be cool but that came back to bite me in the ass once I found out how O.P heat was.
Heat and energy weapons do roughly the same damage while heat weapons make you overheat and energy weapons make the other person lose energy.
Meaning if an energy mech was against a heat mech the heat mech would nearly always win due to the fact the heat mech would make the energy one overheat and become unable to move while the energy one wouldn't do anything because the heat one doesn't need to worry about losing energy because it doesn't use energy! This means nearly every energy mech part isn't used and thus completely making a third of the items in the shop virtually useless.

#2 Lucifer
Oh my god people with Lucifer make my want to rip out my own hair.
Lucifer is a level 22 mech body which is just as good as other body's five levels higher!! Loads of people use Lucifer to beat people who are actually level 22 to earn loads of money. Lucifer costs roughly 140k so most people at level 22 have no chance in hell (Pun intended) to beat him.

#3 High levels = Low population
This is one of the biggest problems in supermechs.
Once you get to higher levels there is barely anyone around your level online.
This is probably one of the reasons loads of high levels use Lucifer to battle low levels.

Now for each of this problems there are solutions:

#1 Heat Vs Energy
For this problem there are 3 ways to fix it.
#1 Make Energy weapons do more damage then heat.
#2 Make having no energy cause problems EX Only one move for each turn if the energy is zero or make having no energy shut you down.
#3 Nerf heat.

#2 Lucifer
You have two ways to fix this problem.
#1 Nerf Lucifer
#2 Get rid of Lucifer
#3 Fix problem 3

#3 High levels = low population
You have two ways to fix this problem.
#1 Get more people to play supermechs
#2 Drastically change the matchmaking system.

Well that's my ramble about supermechs and its problems.
See you next time!
~qazxcwe~

P.S Add chat into supermechs!

problem one's is solution use both types of weapons. energy has its uses and is very important. also just us kits to keep your energy down. problem 2 people who can get 140k at lest deserve a reward. Lucifer has his draw backs to like being 140k meaning if someone is good enough to get it than you would have never had a chance anyway. the third problem. I'm level 22 as well and when ever i'm on line theirs plenty of people to wreck. also if no ones on line just play the computer witch is an easy way to get money. all in all the game is good and your suggestions are completely unfounded.

I'm not saying the game is bad and if you read my entire post you would remember that I'm addicted. Also your whole idea of "Use kits to keep your heat down" Is completely *CENSORED*. You would earn like no money if you had to even use one kit every 2 battles due to the cost of kits. Also I don't think you realize that people with Lucifer are pros who pick on noobs for cash. Your post made it sound like people with Lucifer are pros who are allowed to pick on noobs WHICH IS IMMORAL (Just saying). Also your answer to the last problem makes no sense. Going against the computer only gives you half the money and the computer players with their current A.I are complete retards.
You get more money and practice against proper players online and the more people who get to high levels the more Lucifers there will be.
Thank you for your opinion though.

Thought that i'd give my two cents here too. 8-)

Actually, using kits to keep your heat down isn't complete... (whatever you said).
You don't have to buy the best kits for your mech, just buy those that benefit you. (E.g. if your mech heat capacity is 75 then buying cooling kit that reduces your heat by 100 is useless. Better buy a cooling kit that reduces your heat by 70-80. Same goes for rockets, if your mech holds only 30 rockets, using a kit that will give 40 rockets is also useless. Etc etc.)

About pros, it's a great way to learn which items in the game are the best. You can also study their strategy so you can use it later on.
For example, when i was about lvl17 player, i saw that Solider torso was quite unbeatable, especially with heat weapons. I learned from it and ended up buying myself the very same Solider torso which had beaten me several times before.

Oh, if you find NPC very easy then how about trying to beat several in a row? NPCs will get tougher as their level goes up. Also, fighting against NPCs is also a great way to test out new weapons/builds and strategies.
It's probably just me, but in my opinion, NPCs are somewhat better than real players (tactics wise).

Btw, your statement about "...the more people who get to high levels the more Lucifers there will be." is incorrect. It's true that in range of lvl22-lvl26 there are mostly Lucifer torsos but when you go above that point, you will meet different torsos (e.g. Gladiator, Shielded etc).

I knew the Lucifer was great thanks to the forum, so I bought it in my first day, playing as a premium user. I lose mostly to lucifers, or higher-level rare torsos. but I do remember a particular soldier torso whom I let have one free turn, and it beat me! :D

also, the buttons for drone and "back" in the battle menu are placed too close. sometimes, people miss and recall their drone instead of going back in the menu, thus wasting a turn. frustrating

I read an new about that part

And for the Lucifer problem the strong players would have to downgrade every thing making your level equal so the only way they could beet you is through skill thus teaching you some tactics.

To balance it up, I think that walking and jumping should require energy like in the old battle mechs. Also, some heat weapons should require energy too.
That would balance up the two weapon types, and make energy weapons worth taking.
