You probably can't even reach 2000kg with all the heaviest weapons and modules lol.

Yes this is a problem, people don't have heat controls so they have to use engine boosters and it is stopping them from getting a good mech, so they need to use olden modules. Increase the weight to 2000KG

The problem is not increasing the weight. This would make the top builds even more.
The problem is creating balance within the items and weapons.

Increase the weight to 2000KG Yea but even you have alot of heat capacity( I assume about 200 ), the fact that ( if the weight was 2k ) 3 or 4 Lava Sprays( a troll mech plebs ) would still overheat you and they're still able to do sufficient damage so what's the point?

Change max. weight to 2000kg?  No way!  Here's why:  People will be seen using all of every strong weapon available. Chances are, you'll also see people with all 4 ColdSprays, LavaSprays, and infernovas, etc. etc.  If they accept, in order to balance it off we'll be forced to, however, Increase weight on EVERYTHING for balance. The meta right now are metal shredders, coldsprays, lavasprays, GodMode legs and bodies, and so.
So, if we really did, there'd be no effect in change for balance. As increasing weight, yet also rise the max. weight.

with 1000kg the top players are soo dominating and if its 2000kg then forget about winning .
we can the heavyest and strongest weapons like 4x
