I would like to express a little balancing of Needle Blasters.

It would be much more fair if Needle Blasters require 20 bullets per shot. Its way too overpowered. Think about it! Demolisher Mark III has limits upon range. But needle blaster covers ranges 2-4! So it would be more likely that Needle Blasters must require 20 Bullets per shot. Like what you did with Wipeouts! That made Wipeout much more balanced.

Do you guys agree that Needle Blaster should require 20 bullets per shot?

I agree, mentioned this several times before.
But Wipeout needs still 10 Bullets (Mark II, don't know if Mark III needs more)

And this is still too less.

The physics are too overpowered compared to heat or nrg.

Less weight, more dmg, more drain, less use of ammo...

Atleast someone agrees with me.. Yes, this must be implied..

Oh again, I have another idea of balancing:

Shotguns, yes! Shotguns! Very OP when it deals 150+ So, why not give an energy requirement? Like -15 energy per use? So it wont be way too OP

There you go! that's how you counter Needle Blasters. Keep your enemy in range 1 or far away at 5-9.

20 bullets is ridiculous. If a normal person does not have a mythical bullet pack, They can only use the needle blaster 3 times. Which equates 80+80+80. 240 damage.

Assuming minimum damage.

A Demolisher mk 3 does 75+75+75+75 which is 300 damage.

The problem is that most people strategize their builds to be the range of 2-4. This is where Needle blasters reign supreme.

From someone who also faces These builds alot in mirror match-up, the effective counter to this is to pop on a good 20% shield or heat them up!.

yeah forgot to mention that. It's still good since you can combo it with a sword as well. =)

Then, going in one range, then I'd get hit by meteor then stomp. Yes, I am going to suffer once I faced players with Needle Blaster and a meteor, so hooray for me. :|

This is just useless.

Most physics combine Needle Blasters with Meteor.
So Meteor + Stomp, and now you're back in range of NeedleBlaster.

And keep him away???
Useless for some reasons:
1. Wipeout - Ok, you won't get hit by NeedleBlaster but then killed by Wipeout. Makes little different.

2. Too much options to get close to you:
-Fast Legs
-Teleport
-Charge
-Hook (with mythical 2 times useable) ...

A heat-interupt build is also possible! I've lost a few times cause my opponent had 2 infernals or 1 infernal+flame Boots. The Camp a corner strategy still works as well. I lost to a someone before with 2 Knock backs 2 infernal marks and White Hole blaster. Wasted up all my utility and couldn't use any bullets. Physical mechs have an Achilles heel where they don't have any weapons outside of range 6. You'd be surprised at the unique builds I lose too. =o

By any chance is there a current page with all the weapons and parts and current info on them somewhere? Might be easier to see how off balance certain weapon types are.
