Are you asking for Korupt to give a fatality? I think that would involve Korupt reading a 1000 novel regarding the intricate list of responsibilities that is required for each player to follow as per signing any Terms of Agreement — much like dying from a Vogon in A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

Also, who is off track? Are we not talking about decapitations? Are you not entertained Slinkybd?

Usually the continuation would be brought into spam or off topic most others will see this as an attempt to increase post counts lol. Its fun but its not in the right section on the forums

I have never seen a topic be brought into SPAM on SM before, but I thought as long as the topic of Decapitations/executions is being discussed, it is fine.

They maintain a rating for everyone to play so I hardly see how it could be too violent. It is not as if they are going to insert mortal kombat finishes into SM with blood and gore. They are non living robots, something that can be rebuilt and something that cannot die so I do not see any violence in this whatsoever.

Cutting off arms/head and/or blowing the guts out is violent, regardless if the victim is human, zombie or in this case, a robot.

As far as "blood" goes, basically you can say that the oil is the blood of a robot. And that squirting oil would only add more to a violence.

There is a very big difference between cartoon violence and realistic violence. Since mechs obviously do not exist like portrayed in this game it is more cartoon violence. Since you mention zombies though they resemble a human since they originate from humans in those games so that comparison can be made, fortunately sm does not have zombies though. ;) Comparing blood to oil makes no sense to me though, when a kid goes outside and sees oil leaking from a car onto the driveway he does not freak out and say the car is dying.

As far as offtopic chat (spam) goes, there is no forum rule currently present that would prevent such action.
Hence why offtopic posts here aren't deleted or the topic itself isn't moved to the Spam subforum.

and ur picture that has two swords going through a skull and the swords are on fire isnt violent ?

Btw, my avatar doesn't show 2 spikes going through the skull. Those 2 spikes are at backround (behind the skull).
And how does my avatar have anything to do with the current topic?

My question is: Isn't there enough violence in the world (both real and cartoon violence)? I don't see why the violent actions should be implemented into almost everything that was fine before.
Btw, as your example with kid and car goes, that may very well happen (especially when the kid doesn't know why it is happening).

yeah I do agree I'm not a huge fan of this idea.. I feel there's a lot more need for other things.. but who am I to say... also this game is based to a younger audience.. (I showed this game to my little cousins and they went bananas.. they love it) sure it shows better that you won and they lost.. but idk.. doesn't seem to matter anymore anyways.. implementing it then taking it out seems like 2ce as much work..

When a chat won't be put in because it might change the rated audience for the game do you really think they are going to put something violent in? I see no reason to bring the "violence of the world" into this conversation. This is a video and as such most of the fun lies in doing things you cannot in real life, this is not going to be some dramatic violent change I am sure but let's call this for what it is and that is a game. I fail to see how some little variation of a match ending makes it too violent when currently the mech completely explodes. With what you are saying we could say there is a person in there and we are actively killing him, these are imaginary creations and being such how you interpret it is what matters. If you wish to say interpret it as you are killing people and hurting something which has no feelings, since it is fake, then nothing can be done to prevent that. In short it is all based on how you interpret it I guess so if a kid is playing he is going to interpret it in a way that suits his personality whether that be comical, mischievous, uncaring, or views it as violent.

Again, there is and (probably) will still be explosions and the sort. Why not voice your discontent there as well? I think the point about children seeing oil squirt out of a mech (which is not guaranteed to happen, so it is only a thought experiment at the moment) is a bit arbitrary. Mechs get shot at, attacked by swords, shot rockets at that explode, and explode (themselves). Why is the execution the only part that you have mentioned as possibly ill-suited for the game?
