No - not correct :!:

There will ALWAYS be one or two setups, which are the stongest :!:

If you lower the strength of weapons OTHER weapons will be the best option :!:

A 100 % balance in a game / of weapons is not possible :!:

Only way would be ... we ALL play with the exactly same mech, same fusion, same equipement, and that would be MORE than boring :!:

The Demolisher Mark 1 is better the Mark 2 and About the same as Mark 3.

Shields are too strong, and make the game very boring in my opinion. Whenever I am against a top player and they have a shield, and my mech is physical, I am ready to just quit right then and there, I do about 0 Damage, and they suffer no loss at all majority of the time depending on there Shield being energy or heat. Energy Shield>Makes Physical useless. On top of this when they negate all your energy to 0 all their damage goes into OverDrive mode and obliterates you. To make sure we are clear, my opinion, (Shields are overpowered).
I have seen videos of a 55% shield coming soon, I am not to so sure it will bring anything near balance at all, especially with the new energy module. If the removal of the shields wont happen, then the amount they can withstand should be vastly decreased.

I think since the update where the power of energy & heat increase the physicals are a little bit underpowered ... but as I wrote before ... there will be always stronger and weaker setups

I have tried them and they are broken, simply use a 20% shield and you can have it forever on against most builds. At least in rank 1 not sure if you have ever been that good :)

I have tried them and they are broken, simply use a 20% shield and you can have it forever on against most builds. At least in rank 1 not sure if you have ever been that good :)


Use a high damage build to destroy 20% shields or use a Drainer build to deal lots of damage regardless of shielding. Some of the shields in the game are unusable like 25,30,35,40,45,50%. 20% is not overpowered in anyway.

Maybe you do not know how to read. The first post of shields being overpowered also had an example of Physical vs. Energy Shield/Build. It is not breakable if they have a decent amount of energy. So When they delete your energy They will have super sayan strength, while at the same time with a 20% or more damage reduction to all your physical power. High damage from physical cannot even touch a energy shield if it is the right one. Regardless if the amount is 20% or lower it is still reducing damage, which DOES matter. The very issue of Energy builders being able to reduce any damage and doing 150% more damage when they put a Physical builds energy to 0 is and should never be okay. Before you reply with a smart comment, "rebuilding" your mech to have more energy wont work either, then you would ultimately lack in output of most likely your hp. ammo, etc. To sustain the regular base damage of these Energy monster swords, and try to take out the shield at the same time is nearly close to impossible.

Man, it's so easy to break an nrg shield.
Just replace your Antares with a good nrg-drone, and/or your own sword with a Call of Lightning or Sparks and the most nrg-shield-users won't even dare to activate it.

The most dangerous physic builds are those that are including some nrg-weapons.

And by the way, no good player uses an nrg-shield on an nrg-mech.
Nrg-builds are using heat-shields, and those are not as good as nrg-shields, cause they can mostly only be used against other nrg-builds.
Heatmechs would fry every mech that uses a heatshield against a heater and physics do so much dmg, that the shield-user overheats during two rounds and has to cool down.

Very true but some run them for fun and it ends up destroying a physical mech :P
