There are many nice weapons and combos that few dare to invest hardly earned money on. We could improve build diversity and train players by allowing them to test all gear that they have access to, for free.
How?
You enter "test grounds". There you build mech from whichever parts available at your level. You get one random computer opponent of same level. You fight, that's it, no reward, no punishment, just testing things out. Your mech would not survive, each time you build new thing from ground.

There's no skill in that ^_^ I don't think that is the right approach to take to this at all. The person that may find a good build will have put the time in to warrant their reward. This is the same way the "proper ratio" was discovered in bd, by players endlessly searching for the most efficient way to build a squad. Since super mechs is newer than bd they need the chance to have that opportunity to perfect things just as bd did. Also I'd consider this to be more of a battle simulator like we use in bd, an excellent tool that benefits everyone.

Shouldn't they get some "push-up"? first, and second, you would still need tho have and idea what you testing and some concept of how you should arrange things. So again you need shill. And if you got perfect combo by doing hundreds of combos and by sheer luck, then, you've got lucky. Again it's kind of effort. I salute every option that will improve understanding of game mechanics and knowledge to masses, as always. Because now we have 10% of maniacs or paypal warriors, and rest of people. Blurring that line is always good thing.
