Pretty self explanatory title.. Why bother even making a strategy game if the players do not have the proper time to plan a move. Honestly, I think the timer should be closer to 45 seconds but at the VERY LEAST 30.. I cannot tell you how many times I have been frustrated beyond belief because I couldn't get my second move off because I was waiting for the damn menu to reappear! I just recently discovered this game and love it, but this flaw is so frequent and irritating that it really makes the game subpar.

Games should be fast and fun. Instead of playing one long game with lots of time to think better play two and improve your clicking skills. 20 seconds are a loooong time when you planned your mech well played at least 200 games.
So I am against longer turn times.

antares, some ppl have problems with those 20 seconds becuz of internet speed + long time action

Aister, I know but then the proposal should be a dynamic increase of your action time depending on your ping and not a 30 -45 sec turn time across the board.

if u don't know there are actually programs to push ur ping higher (by accelerating ur speed, aka speed hack)...
wat I propose is 20 secs of actually planning, like selecting actions first, then after 20 secs or u've done selecting, the action animation will begin.

I also think the first action should be within 20 seconds. 40 seconds are like hours when the opponent does just nothing.
So my suggestion would be: 20 seconds for the first action and when this happened there can be 10 seconds added for the second action.
Your opinion?

This concept would still suffer from high pings since giving the commads would still take a long time. But In general I like that idea if it mitigates the newbies problems.
