What makes your mech good against the electric mechs is the fact that it has a lot of regen, since when they end up with all your energy, the additional damage that the electric mechs receive literally IGNORE your resistance and attacks the HP directly.
blues mechs,
i know that when you have no energy that energy drain damage affects hp. the actual damage portion of the attack is still reduced by damage resistance. good (not great) regen + 30 damage reduction work together.
energy mechs do NOT ignore damage reduction. they simply have the capability to deal bonus damage. the same principal applies when you use an energy shield against a physical or heat mech. 30 damage reduction and then the reduced damage is reduced again by *blank* percent by the shield. they work together to become more effective then if used alone. the only way to ignore damage reduction is with a pad (which should be removed)
ENERGY MECHS DO NOT IGNORE DAMAGE REDUCTION.
