it's more a rhetorical question but still... is there a way to earn/make/get tokens or mythical items without spending real money or "playing" 3rd party "quests"?

I'd rather bought the game itself, like in good old days on consoles, and get weapons according to a campaign progress, than to pay and pay and pay for a chance to get it in a crate.

It would make less money for developers but more fairness for players if win in a battle either online or campaign would yield a chance to get token or mythical.

I have reaches rank 3 without any purchases and now lose often with "not-enough-mystical" mech. I only used tokens to buy missions on the map, and now with less than 70 left I feel like there is no much sense to continue playing, as there is no way to improve.

Yeap, been there done that. I have accomplished the campaign on all levels of difficulty and collected all but one box from the map. I still have not got weapons I want even for a single mech. And I would like to make two. What should I do next?
