Hey everyone...

I've been here a couple days and enjoy the game, but as I get deeper in, I'm becoming a little frustrated with what seems to be a lack of places to find out how to get better. I know some will say that's what clans are for, and I saw something about the adopt-a-newb thing, but I really prefer just reading up and figuring things out. But on the wiki and info guides, the information is extremely basic.

Some examples of questions I have that seem mysterious...

- What does adding power to my mech's torso actually do for it? It doesn't increase the hit points, it doesn't add armor or shielding... How does it help me?

- I just got a mythical diamond shell with only 120 hit points, but +19 resistance in every category, As an experiment, I left my other resistance in place, so that I have +36 resistance in each category, and the results are very,very inconsistent. Fighting at lvl 8-9, some weapons hit me for 1-5 points, while some still do high damage (in the 70 - 100 range). What's the difference there? Do Mythical weapons have special powers against Mythical torsos? There is something more going on than just the usual range of effectiveness in weapons...

Anyway, I've tried asking questions in the general chat, but all I get are smart ass remarks, or people saying they'll answer my questions if I join their clan...

Am I missing somewhere that some of the deeper intricacies of the game are explained?

Increasing the level of the torso adds yes Hit Points every level you reach in torsos adds +5 HP, the maximum level is 16, at this level you get a increase of +75 HP on your torso.

None of mythical items have any super power, and you can also add the damage their weapons and their drones, weapons at the maximum(16) level gain an increase of +15 damage and drones at the maximum level(6) gain up +5 damage (as grapling hooks, charges and teleports).
