Sorry for double posting on your topic Bluz (I don't like doing this) but I would like to bring one thing to attention.
What will be the dominant strategy for 3v3 matches? Asking this to people who own and have access to most if not all items in the game.
My prediction will be the use of the best mech from each type, heat, energy, physical. By doing this you can have a respectable counter to your opponents first mech choice. Only problem is that your opponent can just as easily switch to a counter to you mech if they have a mech of every type as well.
Ok - so now think of this. What if all three of your mechs are the same general typing? All resistance drain is going to pile on to each of your opponents mechs, giving you a decent advantage when is comes to damage dealing. You could have 3 heat mechs that all vary just a little.
Example - Mech #1s weapons are Meltdown, Mopifer, and Firewall (shoutout to James). Mech #2s weapons could be Red Rain and Mythical Heat Shotgun (shoutout to Conqueror). Mech #3s weapons could be Red Rain, Heat Grenade, and Saurus. Each mech would have its own strengths setting it apart from the rest, example Mech #1 having high health and regen, Mech #2 being able to deal extreamly high heat totals in 2 actions, and Mech #3 having the ability to get good damage in at range along with high regen.
My idea with that last 3v3 setup, feel free to try it and use it to smash but don't claim it was your idea to others. If you independently thought of it (which is entirely possible), feel free to boast whatever you want.
As stated before, I'll probably be sticking to 1v1 matches when the update is released, due to the fact that the little fusion I have is in one torso and one set of legs. Don't be surprised if we meet in a 2v2 Bluz
