I noticed this
To begin with I didn't so much like it as it ruined my early game tactics, however I reverted back to an old tactic and it worked great with it. It's just a matter of changing your tactics according to your game-play, to find what best suits you.
Eg/ If you go first, deploy your drone. They will either
1) No knock back: hit them with a top knock back weapon, then jump back one
2) 1 knock back: hit them with a no knock back weapon, then knock back one
3) if they double knock back: Teleport in while you still have energy and hit them with a knock back sword
If you go second
1) If they deploy drone: knock back, jump back one
2) If they double knock back: deploy drone, cool-down
3) if they knock back 1: no knock back weapon, knock back
Things like this, where you have to think about new situations, make the game interesting when there are changes.
