Ok, I am not here to rant on the forums or to rage, I am just frustrated with the new match-making set up.

Right now, I have decent score in the mid-3000's, which I normally get playing using a level 15 build. However, I have just seen it start dropping and dropping continuously against level 22-25 builds. Yes, I said level 22-25, against a level 15.

In the past 10 matches, according to replays, I have played somewhere around 5 level 20+ builds, and 3 level 18-20 builds. With my level 15 mech, I don't stand a chance against people with levels 7 levels higher.

Fix this please, it is an urgent issue.

As Ilona said on the other thread, send her a pm with both names of the mechs so they can look into it. Things can't be fixed unless they know what's causing it.
Personally however I would not say that it is broken. Really this provides some balance to SM. You say it is unfair to face stronger mechs that you stand no chance against when you have a good amount of ladder points. Do you not realize that is exactly how you earned all those ladder points? You are killing the weaker up and coming players by fighting at a level much lower than your own. Those new players really stand no chance. Now let's look at the other side, you've collected these ladder points and in doing so one would assume you've a strong build and play rather strategically. Taking that into account it is quite possible for you to face and beat someone a higher level or at the very least put up a good fight. In my opinion you say it is broken because you go against someone stronger than you and struggle but I believe that is a good thing. If everyone fought at their level rather than farmed the low guys more players would be competing. Now I know most will say "well I don't fight at my level because my mech is weak and I can't get good parts" but think about this, if the majority of players at that level are weak then it is not really weakness is it? As being weak is a relative term.

i completely agree. the pms have been sent by alot of players, now its time for u guys to fix it!

Personally I feel that if yuou are staying at 15, or 18, or even 22-24, and consistently winning against your level, you need to move up and start fighting at a higher "league".

Consider this in terms of real life...

People who play sports in high school and dominate move on to the college level, when they get done there, they move up to the minor leagues. If they can compete and prove themselves there, they then move up to the Major/Pros. The same should be said for this game in my personal opinion.

I have fighted at 15 [Deuce-x-Machina], and at level 18 [Lightning Samurai], competing very well at both levels. I am now fighting at level 23 and i plan to move up to level 30 with this [7-ELEVEN] account. I believe others who are complaining that fighting higher levels and losing is an issue should also move up to that level and prove there selves at a higher level of play.
