I'm curious as to how the ranking system works given what I'm seeing above and below me, if it isn't immediately obvious drid has less wins and more losses than scrapextractor and yet Drid is ranked above scrapextractor, I know that one has a loss streak atm and the other has a winning streak but from experience that doesn't seem to affect your ranking otherwise I'd be losing ranks everytime I lose and gaining ranks exponentially the more I win. Is there some sort of decay occuring? Whereby overtime your rank goes down with inactivity, or possibly is it because Drid would seem to be a premium user given that he is such a higher level, does that improve your ranking? I've noticed that admins tend to not reply to posts about ranking system so if anyone has some sort of experience with the ranking system that can gleam some light on this I'd be appreciative if you shared (not including instances where the system obviously glitched your ranking into the top 10), and just to be clear that isn't meant as a criticism towards admins, if they want to keep particular cards close to their chests then that's fine with me

The modmins have been reluctant to explain the ranking system, so I doubt you'll get an answer, but suffice to say, it's based on more than simply your wins and losses, and there are other things that can effect your rank (e.g. quitting is worse for your rank than simply loosing a match).

I've had the same question, I was ranked at 48, lost one due to internet failure, dropped to 2,200 ish, I'm currently on a 21 win streak, four of those wins were top ten ranked players, but somehow I'm now ranked at 3,396? Oh well. Nickname "Ringo" I match at 22, add if you want, 7279449

The ranking is realy buggy, the developers will eventually get round to sorting it out, but first, they want to sort out the bugs that effect the gameplay of the game.

It's probably best to just ignore the ranking for the time being.

Problem is just that we are still working on it. At the moment the ranking list get updated 1 time/hour. The rank that you see meanwhile its kind of a 'guess' how it could be. We hope to have it shortly fixed and then you can see all the time your real rank.
