For 2v2,3v3, You are going to want 2 mechs that cover eachother's weaknesses. Your first mech will likely be a sturdy mech with good modules setups. Your 2nd mech will be a mech that can potentially deal lots of damage to both energy/heat in the event your opponent uses resistance kits or so. Your final mech will be a high damaging mech to make use of +% damage.

3v3
Do not have utility heavy builds. I.E. teleport+hook+Charge heavy builds as
I suggest only one such build.
Your first mech will be your general purpose mech.
Your 2nd mech will be one some sort of juggling mech likely. Orb+grenade or shotgun+red rain.
Your 3rd mechs will likely be Death Punch/Super Nova/N-Blaster.

I suggest 3 mechs of pure type.

Uploaded a video explaining it to the people don't know :P

I'll take your advise Reiko, as it sounds logical.

Figured out a great tactic when battling in 2v2s and 3v3s. Only is useful if you're the first to destroy the opponents mech.

If you do get the first kill, wouldn't it be smart to (instead of letting your 1st mech die) switch to your second build before your damaged mech is killed? This is will greatly decrease the odds of your opponent getting a that 1st 10% damage bonus, which you will already have, giving you a greater chance to win the next fight too. After defeating the opponents 2nd mech you will either win or want to switch in your 3rd mech, once again preventing the opponent from getting that damage boost.

How about having different mech builds of one mech type?

If anyone didn't get what I meant about that, it means we build different forms of a heat/energy/physical build.

For example, first mech has a meltdown with a grenade and saurus.

Second heat mech has RR Shotgun, and third has 4 death punches?

As for what did Bez said, I don't think that should be a possible thing. T_T Or else I'd stick with 1v1.
