hi, i'm losing a rank every time an oponent gives up a match. is it a bug or is this normal?

I know of what you are talking about. If you check your ranking in the ladder screen you will actually recongnoze that the level ABOVE you is not used and that's where you should actually be.
So for example if you just got a "-1" rank and you check your current rank to be e.g. 45 you will see that rank 44 is empty. This means you are actually 44 and the -1 rank is just a glitch in the calculation system.
At least that's what i recognized.
