im sticking at lvl 28. im getting normal matchups here

and a 2nd time after thinking that was a fluke i tried it again.
i even checked all my gear i have nothing above lvl 22 can some1 please explain this?

Wait, you can get a match-up as low as level 22 if you're level 31? He would have to wait a pretty long time to match up with you, and he would run into someone before that ever happened. I claim exploit.

it happened to me with 3 different people. those matchusps arent supposed to happen no matter what

It is best to always refresh after changing your set of gear.

Well, explain this one then, seeing that this is the highest level of equipment I have at the moment and have never fought above level 8...

Seems to me that there is a piece or pieces of gear with the wrong level on them...

And to add insult to injury...He went first!!!

Looks like a Level 18 Golden Eye chassis, Level 15 Big Bertha, Level 17 Le Gun, and a level 18 Hard Hitter. Nat sure about the sword or legs...

Your overall level looks higher than your opponent.. Seems like a little bit of kharma for picking on the level 8 noobs.. ive done the same thing but i dont think you have a huge right to complain.. I use a lvl 22 mech and I sometimes face lvl 19s not too often but I believe 3 mech levels isn't a huge deal... The game is in beta.. Be patient and find ways to work around these type of things..

I hate to disagree with you, but that does not seem the case for me. His mech looks like all level 8 to me. I think it was just a bug, but I have been wrong before …

Looks like you passed level 21 which means you fight at a minimum of level 20. So even though your highest mech equipment is level 8 you are technically level 20. That is also why he got the first move.

I accidentally clicked multiplayer when I was fighting StormCoyote at level 7 or 8, and when I was in multiplayer, it said I was level 20. Mind you, when I clicked, I had no level 20 items on me.
