Does this effect your matchmaking level or just who gets first turn in the actual fight? Coz if it's going to start effecting matchmaking, why bother fusing at all. I'm going to use quadruplet rockets as an example:

quadruplet rockets
level 16: 45 damage

If I give it an additional 6 damage that then becomes a level 18 weapon.

Sextuplet rockets
level 18: 46-61 damage. (Compared to 51 damage from the quadruplet rockets).

So now I've spent all that time and effort fusing items together, to find I could just buy the next level item in the shop a lot cheaper and it will do pretty much the same damage (mean damage of sextuplet rockets 53.5, so actually does more damage).

yes, and my level 15 legendary wepons which in power level 9? Go to the trash because its level 18, but if i didn't fuse its just level 15. And because i'm in level 30 i will never get another one in power level 1, with matchmaking level 15... Just with tokens.

No one will use the fusion core.

Pfft I created a new account a couple days back because I wasn't getting any legendary items for level 30 and with the change to range on weapons my level 22 build became rubbish.

I reached level 15 yesterday on my new account which has 4 legendary items (1 of which I used reds to purchase :roll:) and since then have managed to get all the items up to level 5 and 2 of them to level 6.

I'm gonna be real bumbed up that I've wasted time to create this new account (and purchasing reds) to find yet again I've built a mech that is now useless :'(

This game is almost unplayable with the ammount of changes to it :'( why does it have to be so addicting xD

I am not sure if you would like to face a lvl 18 player while you are are lvl 18 as well when he has fused all his items to max :)

But by the way!

I'd like to toss here a suggestion that we discussed lately as well:

How about we give each item a certain battlescore? So for example, you have a side weapon level 3 with 10 battlescore, you fused it, so its 11 etc
The summary of each item that you have equipped will determine your matchmaking level.
Example : a mech with a battlescore of 191 points would fight against a mech with 180-199 points ?!
Discuss please! 8-)

I hit level 15 yesterday. I beat all but one player and I didn't have any fused items on my mech ^_^ you can still out-skill players :P

As for the sugestion, if I equiped 2 very strong swords (say a battlescore of 20 each) and then nothing else, my mech would have a battlescore of 40. If I then went up against a mech that equiped 4 weapons without any fusion that all had 10 battlescore, his total battlescore would be the same as mine. Then all i'd have to do is hook and teleport as much as possible to use my swords and because of the opponents weak weapons I know he wouldn't be able to compete.

If that is a possibilty, then not a good idea.
