I fought against someone who quit early on in the fight, and on the victory screen, it had a negative reward.
Something like
REWARD -9000
TOTAL +-9000
(those aren't the real amounts, which I can't remember)

But from what I remember there was actually no chnage applied to your money right?

I had this happen as well, what happened to me was no change in gold for that particular fight but it occured when I was close to a level. Because of the quit I didn't get the experience for that particular level in that fight, after the next fight I did get the level but I got no bonus gold for the level.
I'm not too bothered since at level 40 odd the bonus is 10 000 which isn't that hard to earn but it seems to be a bug which I'm guessing you would want to know about

Now that you mention it, I remember being near to levelling up when it happened to me (and then got no money when I did level up)

Confirmed. For me it happened 10 mins ago. i needed sometihng like 90 EXP to level up to lvl 8. I got a match, the player did his turn and left. what happened was i got - 1250 reward as rank and as gold, no gold was lost. I got 15 (or 30 EXP, don't remember). After that i did another match and i won, leveling up to lvl 8. But the gold reward was 0. I don't know how much and what amount i should've gotten, but anyway.
Its a bit strange 
GOing to get me more gold,

I remember this,for three times.
about lv 10?,reward message is totally fake,got nothing at all
about lv 28?,message is wrong and I remember I got 20000 or more credits but no exp,level up after next battle
The most interesting thing is lv 39 up to 40.I need only one battle,looking forward to lv40.After a second I saw lv41!! credit reward.I'm so sure this time cause it happened just 2 hours ago

Again same happened to me...
I was near lvl 18 and a player quit before the battle i got same - rating/gold (nothing changed). After that i won a battle got a level up but no reward. The ranking was fixed after next won battle after my login
