I was in a battle against another player and and his turn timed out. The time reached double zero but didn't switch over to my turn. I waited a minute or so but all that happened was the clock flashed a couple of times. I had to refresh my browser because my only other option was to quit and lose rank (although my rank was probably still negatively affected.

Yep, it's common bug. It's when the opponent has a weapon equipped that you couldn't see. When he uses that weapon you glitch out and can't do anything. The devs are no doubt working on it since it's the most common complaint on SM, however SM still is fairly new game, so won't be perfect straight off ^_^

As Starwar7s put it, it is a very common complaint. All my recent major wink streaks (within the last few weeks) were lost because of this. I once had 13 losses in a session because of this bug. In short, this bug is ubiquitous in SM. Good luck devs!
