I reach the river, only to find that it has run dry. Raindrops weigh down the golden-brown leaves, as they fall to the ground in a mesmerizing dance. I stood still, gazing at the dried river.
And slowly turned my head.

Someone else was in the forest.

"Damn that guardian, ruined my super stalker mode"

I mubbled as I was walking with the group of people, I had no interest in the food supply. Members of the Hotaku clan don't eat food, they only absorb a special source of energy call H-ray, which can be produced with only a piece of paper.

Far away in the horizon, an oasis appeared.

"I don't eat either," I replied to the clueless clansman. "I am no longer human. I can even manipulate my body's elements in order to create weapons and body armor. This equipment is acting as a handicap. For centuries, I have hidden amongst humans, guarding the jewel that is the source of my power."

I grab a tattered navy blue cloak from my bag and put it on in place of my armor. "I don't need this." I use my power to morph the armor into a ball the size of a marble on a chain, which I place around my neck.

The man following us has stopped moving. I take heart knowing that I cannot be harmed by him. However, for my comrades, it is a different story.

"Come along," I said. "We must make it to the other side of the desert, to my Master's tomb. The only way to restore life to this world is to place the jewel within my heart, the source of my power, back where it came from over 8,000 years ago. It has been passed from guardian to guardian, and I, the last guardian, must return it."

After being spotted i quickly retreated back into the sand where i pulled out my special cloak from my backpack. It would act as camouflage in any environment. After wrapping it around me i followed the footprints of this windless desert to arrive in a small town.

"Well, i can probably find some useful stuff here."

Climbing onto some rooftops I scouted out the village and just so happened to see the two friends again.

"Damn..."

Not paying attention i stumbled and fell off the building and fell right in the arms of the man from the hotaku clan...

Wat the... Falcon Punch!!!

"Ecchi!!"

After I've done burried the victim, I continue my walk. But when I look up, I can't see the guardian anymore. Oh well I don't need him anyway, I opened the map, and look for the way to the nearest oasis.

In the sun he walked...

I returned to the oasis after a short walk to find the clansman already gone. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something sticking up out of the sand. I grabbed on it and pulled gently. Sand shook from what appeared to be a body. He was still alive, but unconscious. I carried him into the ruins of a house and laid him down on an old mattress, and lit a fire. Then I walked outside and waited, looking for other travelers who could help me restore the world.

I wake up to find myself in an old building on a less than comfortable mat.

"Stupid Hotaku, what was that for..."

I sit up to see it's a pretty empty room with two walls missing.I look to my left to see a fire through what used to be a doorway.Having no reason to stay here i get up and walk out to see the dreaded Black Templar.
