You're caught in a funny/unbelievable/unfortunate situation and must come up with a reasonable excuse for what you were doing. Example below.

Poster 1: You just punched your best mate in the face.

Poster 2: Jeez, bro you need to upgrade your reflexes, this is training for real life!

You go on a blind date and are hooked up with your sister.

Poster 3: Oh hey sis, why are you here at this shameful event? I was simply here to buy drinks for my mates.

You are caught stealing from a corner shop.

And so on.
