If Pinocchio said his nose would grow he would be lying so his nose would grow but then he would be telling the truth and his nose wouldn't grow but his nose did grow. If you have an EPIC paradox please feel free to post it

Logic straight from wiki
Barbershop paradox: The supposition that if one of two simultaneous assumptions leads to a contradiction, the other assumption is also disproved leads to paradoxical consequences. What the Tortoise Said to Achilles "Whatever Logic is good enough to tell me is worth writing down...," also known as Carroll's paradox, not to be confused with the physical paradox of the same name. Crocodile Dilemma: If a crocodile steals a child and promises its return if the father can correctly guess what the crocodile will do, how should the crocodile respond in the case that the father guesses that the child will not be returned? Catch-22 (logic): A situation where someone is in need of something that can only be had by not being in need of it. Drinker paradox: In any pub there is a customer who, if they drink, everybody in the pub drinks. Paradox of entailment: Inconsistent premises always make an argument valid. Lottery paradox: There is one winning ticket in a large lottery. It is reasonable to believe of a particular lottery ticket that it is not the winning ticket, since the probability that it is the winner is so very small, but it is not reasonable to believe that no lottery ticket will win. Raven paradox (or Hempel's Ravens): Observing a green apple increases the likelihood of all ravens being black. Unexpected hanging paradox: The day of the hanging will be a surprise, so it cannot happen at all, so it will be a surprise. The surprise examination and Bottle Imp paradox use similar logic.

Taken from Terminator: A guy goes to the past to save the woman from an attack by machines, who would bear his child in the future. The child, grown up in the future, is the reason why the machines travel to the past to kill the woman in the first place: therefore, this is why that man jumps to the past. Yet if he never did, the child would had never been born, and if the child had never been born, the man would had never had to go to the past. This is a time paradox. They're epic, and if you understand them you also understand that the future decides the past. Odd huh

If a person opens a portal to the past and shoots himself. So he died in the past which means that he didn't come in the future to kill his past. Which means he is still alive in the future.

If everything is possible, is it possible for something to be impossible?

gunsgunsguns wrote: "I can resist anything but temptation."-Oscar Wilde He's saying that temptation is part of human nature. Not really confusing, everyone has temptation and urges, but whether you choose to act on them or not is your choice. Temptation doesn't control you completely like a puppet, it just influences your thoughts and if you give in, your actions. So the former part of that quote cancels out the second part. He can resist anything, his point remains. Not a paradox.
