Super Mario Galaxy 2 is an ok game but i think that just depends on the player itself of what kind of games they like.

No your the one being ignorant here.
If I say wikipedia I mean "wikipedia" the site.
I never said the site I linked was wikipedia.
The other sited I linked , just explained why Zelda is more a action/adventure game than it is a RPG.

So even using wikipedia as your only creditable source is stupid.

Zelda is the better game , because of its gameplay(IMO) , you're just trying to bash it by trying to make Zelda look like a "pure" RPG.
Its the better rated game , what's the big deal?

Maybe "ignorant" is to nice of a word to describe you.
I would prefer another word , but I don´t feel like bothering the mods.

Zelda is not a RPG , that you don´t know what a RPG , is your problem.

I could explain word for word , why Zelda isn't a RPG , but I cba to explain the obvious.

I'll give you few tips tho.
hint 1 :
(J)RPG's have:
1# (most of the time)Turn based battle systems.
2# Stats
3# item upgrades(multiple!).
4# Are focused on story (story > gameplay)

hint 2 :
Zelda = Gameplay > story.

Only thing keeping Zelda from legitimately being an RPG is stats even though it does have health being able to upgrade(technically speaking it has stats/experience due to traveling further in the game to collect higher HP). Ocarina of Time had many item upgrades, turn based battle systems like the latest FFXII and FFXIII just different concept and Zelda is focused on story as much as any Final Fantasy is. Just using Final Fantasy as an example since it's one of the best RPG's of our time in my own opinion.

Ignorance for knowing, again you should face palm yourself.

i have always classified zelda as an action adventure rpg although it isn't stressed as much as a true rpg it does have qualities of a rpg

TP has 2 , the shield and the sword.
It has been long since I played OoT , but as far as I remember , the schield and sword.(gaining items , I.E the hook-shot , do not count as upgrades)
Zelda does not have any form of stats.
(pure)RPG's do.

Zelda is not a ("pure") RPG.

To explain my point further :

And Zelda's focus on its story is far less than that of a JRPG like FF

No it does not , becease zelda and FF , don't belong to the same genre.

"bow/ocarina/armor/health"
bow : theirs only 1 bow in the zelda games.
ocarina : not a upgrade , its a item. You get a different one later in the game , keyword being "different" not "upgrade'
armor : you never upgrade it , getting a suit to breath underwater is not a upgrade.
health : not a item , plenty of games have ways to increase your health(non-rpg's).

I give up , really , I suggest you don´t bother with this subject ever again , you´re clearly don´t know anything about it.
You can´t compare apples to pears.
You can´t compare action adventure to RPG´s.

Which brings to my final point.

This is clearly going off-topic.
The only thing Zelda has to do with this topic is that it has the 1# spot.
FF on the other hand , has nothing to with it.
