Just to tweak a little this idea (which is a good one):

1. Given that it'll be a non boost era, the admin can give out resource boosts like every two or three days. On regular eras it takes about that much time to reach 100% so the admin can do that on non boost eras.

2. Who ever said 200 tokens as an entry to the non boost era, not gonna happen. Its a non boost era, you go in with what you got and get your daily tokens like non boosters do. If you got real skills, you'll know how to use your resources.

3. I can assure you that booster wont play cuz they are total cowards, thats why it wont work, not cuz its a bad idea, because they dont have the guts to play a non boosting era.

Lets play it. The Awesomeness Alliance will always be there, in the front.

Thats would be a lot of money put into a round for no gain by tacticsoft. Which will encourage boosters to not boost b/c they can go to a non-boosting world. As said earlier in the thread.

BUT as far as Aister suggestion concern, i agree to it also,,,

ans i want to add that About 200 REDS or 30 BLUES should be Fee of that ....

and also I added Blues in it cz i am not been able to get Reds like many other players of BD but Blues are also indication of support,,, So I think Poll should be edited with

1 good Idea and should be with 300 blues or 200 Reds
2 Bad Idea, it ll hurt BD Goals.

Make a list and show me 200 ppl who are willing to pay (and how much), agree on a world and a tick - and I could probably do an era like that.

I tried that before and had like 30 or 40 players ...
But maybe you find more.

But its ok and plz c my suggestion here of like 300 blues or 200 Reds FEE of entering on that world .. I dont think its a Bad Idea

And Aister,,, Nearly 90 % Boosters are good players also,, they start boosting Reds when they think they are like Pro ..... and when all cant boost a single Blue on that world, it ll make fun ....... and then u can c if any HIGH profile booster is a good player also or not

This idea, how awesome it may sound, is simply not plausible. Why would people pay to not be disadvantaged, when they can have that for free? People would have no reason at all to play on boosting worlds. Atmosphere, (as Tom said) would also turn toxic. Aister pointed that out well.

It's either 100% boosting worlds, or 100% non-boosting worlds. Unfortunately, atm there is no feasible way for BD to balance its costs without boosting.

The only way this would be plausible (to avoid the toxic attitude) would be a one a year event like the Champions era. That was something I actually proposed to Tom once. Anyways I think that would be the only way to avoid the harmful ideas swarming around boosting of non boosting. If we had a pay to place Champions era with 0 boosting in the round it would provide real and absolute bragging rights but it will also keep our boosters from leaving the normal worlds since it is only once a year.

Okay, just to clear some things up. How does one calculate a players skill by the size of their wallet? Obviously you're bitter that there are boosters on this game and they DO, clearly, have an advantage over non-boosters. Does that mean they have less skill? Personally I used to boost, quite a bit too, and now that I just play for fun and not as serious I still comfortably think I'm just as good. Only difference is starting the round much slower than normal and you're never maxed workers. Players skill is based on the individual not their wallet. Should praise the boosters if anything because without them you would not be able to play this game.

Sorry for going off-topic it seemed necessary.

none of us know except the admins and dev team

thing is, putting aside the the money, the atmosphere it will create on other server is just bad

to reply to an idea on the top of this page "paying" blues won't help BD at all and can't count as a fee since it's uhhh you get it for free?
