I got my warning for posting an un original content picture in a thread where the goal was to post original content. In the original post it was stated that he knew the thread would most likely get derailed. That doesn't me he expected ME to RUIN his game. It means he knew he posted it in the spam section, and he expected it to be spammed. I thought in this situation, after him just saying this.. that it would be funny for someone to post the infamous trollface. But oh no. Everyone is just appalled at my "pointless spam" and deliberate game ruining...¨


There are plenty of other "game threads" where people aren't following the idea of the game. One in particular where you are supposed to post a picture, along with some sort of argument. After the first page, there are no pictures posted and it goes on for several more pages.

Other threads where the posters completely disregard the topic and start having conversations about pointless things... Double standards much? It feels very much like a "you weren't in the club at the start so you dont get to do the same stuff as us or ill tell my dad to get you out of our treehouse" community.

first, the rules are written pretty clear, post an original image, and yet u post an un-original ones, and he's just joking about the derail thing.

second, given that u don't know, or too lazy to read the first post, u post the first one, get the warning the continue to post the second, is that an ignorance of rules?

in this case it's better to either step out, don't post in there, or apologize and follow the rules.

third, u mention about the other picture argument things, iirc, it was my thread. And yes it is becuz of the guys like you that kill that thread. So whose fault is that the game is not as fun as it should be?

and about the topic derailment, yes, sometimes we derail topics, but not for the games. U can go and take a look at the "king of the hill", "ego contest", is there any derailment in them? No. Why? Becuz they are games, either u play and follow the rules or u get out.

Aister. Most of your post isn't worth reading. What someone posts in their thread labelled "rules" are not rules enforcible by moderators. There is no rule for the spam section that we must follow rules that posters make up for each of their threads. If you seriously think that I was saying I didn't see any game rules posted in that thread by the OP then there really isn't much point in you having an opinion about this. Because you don't even know what you're having an opinion about.

and yes, the way we're doing in this forum is to have mods ensure that ppl are following the rules that the OP has posted in the first post, u have any problem with that?

Yes I do have a problem with that. Because do you know what that is? It's an UNWRITTEN RULE which the moderators seem to enforce. If there was a clearly displayed rule somewhere that stated I must follow the OPs guidlines for every post I make, I'd be happy to follow that rule. I follow all official rules.

Use COMMON sense, if trolling is a sense, than i quit. Keep to what the original post is, dont start breaking off. A post is for a reason, and stay on topic to keep the reason going. Dont be a troll and go post everywhere with random stuff. Stick to the topic and listen to common sense.
