And also from what ive been reading suggestions only need TEN yes votes. I dont know if no votes still have to be explained though.

twas why i stopped doing suggestions... people can vote no, and not contribute to the community... there is a word for those types of people... politicians

Meh, its a rule, ill personally spam all suggestion mods if my post is accepted, with an unexplained no vote knocking it down to 9, and they dont move it for that reason. Rules are rules.

apparently, the 'rule' about no votes requiring reason, even though it was passed by the community, was not implimented because a few lead moderators didn't like the idea (you can see the heated discussions i had on some of my old topics).
Whats even better... they've now deleted that topic from the accepted section of the forums...

So not only are our opinions being blatantly ignored, but the mods are attempting to censor what we can actually know -_-

lol... then maybe you should figure out who just deleted the old topic from the accepted suggestions forum? (It was there a few days ago, but now its gone -_-)... it disappeared once we started pushing for the rule to be implemented.

Its obvious the community wants actual advancement of suggestions, but its pretty hard to do unless you just tell your friends to go vote on it...16 is a lot to get in these hard times... (16 b/c of the trolling no)... people who dont say why they vote no, are essentially nullifying the new 'rule' that says you only need 10 yes votes... has that even been accomplished yet?

its jsut frustrating when the only thing stopping an idea is a no vote, and there is absolutely no reason for it.
If you were stopped on the road by a cop, on your way to work/school, and when asked why, he just said "because i dont want you to get to school/work", it would be totally absurd... however, if he choes to tell you the reasons (eg, he saw your car was leaking oil, or had a flat tire, or missing a headlight), then he has valid reason to stop you.
the same is with the trolling no. People who vote no, with no reason, are essentially stopping progress. It would be best if they could just say why, and maybe everyone else can change their minds too... or even let the idea be tweaked to account for the issue that was risen.

Of course, opinion polls dont require a reason, but concept polls at least should -_-

or even better, if someone already has said why, just quote them and agree...


This is a forum, not a polling station. Forums expect writing. I bet whoever goes around writing no is either posting in alliance forums, or even making other suggestions (or most likely in spam forums -_-)... i highly doubt that people cant post a reason. If they didn't/couldn't write something out, they wouldn't and shouldn't be in the forums.

Also, if you have people explain why, it keeps from random outside people, who dont even bother to play BD, from coming in to just do suggestions/no's (Like me... i'm not playin BD atm.. just foruming around)
