then ban BD. It is taking ppl's life away, players are abandoning their school life, girlfriends, jobs just to spend their time on BD. Plus BD encourage world domination, newb bashing, backstabbing,...

ban all the games, ban all the movies, ban all the entertainment center, music concert, books, etc. as those are just a waste of time anyway...

as well as tons of other ppl.

as I said, if they can be easily affected by anime, they can be easily effected by the other things as well.

if there are someone spend hours after hours, days after days watch anime, they will spend hours after hours, days after days playing games.

if there are someone who watch anime and become a murderer, they will play game and become a murderer too.

and is it the anime's fault?

there are tons of ppl who watch anime, play games and still lead a normal, happy life. Yet there are ppl who don't know how to control themselves. So is it the anime's fault? Is it the games' fault? Or is it their fault for not able to control themselves in the first place?

1980 huh. If you're going to look that far back why not google America's KKK. That was an isolated incident. The KKK was a country wide continuous campaign of violence.

And actually, it was 1989. Not that long ago. Aister, what also isn't relevant is your argument that all movies and games should be banned. That's also a way different debate. I'm saying, obesity rates are crazy here because we already have games, TV, and movies, why the hell should anime be added to the equation? It shouldn't. Not that I see anime being popular in America anytime soon. I can't speak for Vietnam and Japan but in America, the populace usually doesn't like pedophilia and violent crimes.
