But I don't get it, if there are demons and no God why do exorcisms work with all that Jesus stuff?

good question. maybe all that christianity stuff has some meaning. perhaps priests have a spiritual energy demons don't like. lol i never really thought about that.

i think they lose smell and taste, of course they don't really need those either. they keep everything else. yes they keep all their memories.
