First of all, hi :D I'm new(obviously),and somewhat confused.
I'd like to get these outta the way,
1) When will new worlds be released? I created an account today and started on tick 320. I am planning to start from tick 1 since all of the newbie guides recommend that.

2) Are crystals free(meaning i don't have to spend any money of to obtain them)?

OK, now for these, please bear with me if these seem a bit obvious :-}

3)What is research? I can't seem to find it on the wiki. A lot of guides say that I have to get this research and that research blah-blah-blah..

4)Last one... Can I possibly hope to compete in this game without spending any money at all?

I guess that's all. It's not that i want to follow a set of instructions, i just want to get the basics and some questions outta the way before i play :)

I just copied this from my thread... since no one was answering i just wanted to ask you :D

1. that's up to the admins
2. you get one crystal the first time you reach 20 power. the rest you get from conquering other players
3. research is under structures if you go to the "my colony" tab
4. I've been rank 2 without spending any money

make sure you vote to get blue tokens. they help a lot early on.
