I am arguing against your argument that its cheating the res cap. Its not cheating. Its strategy. Ultimately it boils down to what everyone wants. I am down with an update that I personally hate but everyone else likes. But if someone says that they are okay with not being able to save oil (mind you this hasn't been implemented yet), then I would tend to think they dont know much about the game.

I applaud what you have done. From the beginning when I saw your power was higher than mine at tick 10 I thought that's what you were doing. I've said it in private to my alliance and now I'm saying here publicly and to you.

Not for killing the admins. Not for just boosting like a fiend. But you knowing that you'd come under all sorts of fire exhibited exactly what's wrong with the new system. Or rather what was wrong with the EX-NEW system (since they changed it less than a day afterwards)

I know that they had their hearts set on coming into a round and experiencing playing the new game along with us. It'd be a great way to keep in touch, and find out even more ways to improve it...

And they did. They experienced the same thing a great many players do, the disparity between those who can and those who can't boost large quantities of money. And hey let's be honest... $300 to many power boosters is a drop in the bucket.

As for the other conversation that's taking place now. I've said it before. Regardless of if a rule is liked or not it's a rule. And while you can circumvent it for awhile when they plug the loophole deal with it. It's not tactical tor attempt to try to play by different rules as everyone else. And if everyone was doing it then everyone's affected the same way, the playing field is still level and again you have no argument.
