Why are they even still here? More often than not they just give unfair advantages. Stahp dat. No.
I'm kinda shocked they are stil part of the game, especially in ladder.

I personally don't think they should completely be removed, rather be much more rare. They do offer some pretty cool gameplay at times, but they are usually more of a bother. Making them 10% chance of getting them in a match seems reasonable. Making them more rare would actually be awesome because it wouldn't make God Mode so *CENSORED* overpowered.

It helps god mode and get diamond shell weaker than it already is...

It helps god mode way too much. The physical pads are also broken asf in the mirror match.

I found a ratehr simple solution for this pads thing:
Example :
Cooldown buff pad : Increase your cooldown
Debuff : decrease your MAX HEAT CAPACITY

Energy regeneration buff pad : Increase your regeration
Debuff : decrease your MAX ENERGY CAPACITY

Ignore resistance pad : make all resistance zero
Debuff :decrease your MAX HP CAPACITY by 25%-50%

Physical damage buff pad : increase physical damage
Debuff : More ammunition/rockets consumption

Heat damage buff pad : Increase your heat weapon's damage
Debuff : Increase the heat generated to yourself on your heat weapon
Example:Inferno Axe
Heat deal : 65 buffed 75
Heat generate 22 debuffed 44

Energy damage buff pad : Increase your energy weapon's damage
Debuff : Increase your the amount of energy comsumed to use that energy weapon
Example : Deep drain
Energy drain : 40 buffed to 60
Energy consumption : 10 debuffed to 20

These are my personal ideas , still calculation for the other type of pads though :geek:

I agree... buff pads should not exist in ladder battles. (They are fine in friendly battles)

But if the pads stay... they should at least be changed so that they NEVER spawn in the corners. A corner pad is ridiculous, you can't even knock them back in order to get them off it.

They should be removed immediately. In too many matches, these pads are the difference between winning in losing right now.

Once they are nerfed or fixed then they can add them back, but having them in the game as of right now just isn't practical.

As annoying as they are, I do think it gives less equipped players a better chance at winning against spenders. If there were no pads(and already no resistance kits), it becomes much harder to beat somebody with better gear than you.
