I'm level 27 now and so should have received 520 tokens at 20 tokens/level, but I currently have 260 tokens. I have seen tokens disappear with my own eyes (my counter has slipped from 200 to 180 and 180 to 160 multiple times). Can I receive these tokens back?

I am level 86 and only have 20 tokens (the first time I received 20 tokens, at level 85, I gained 20 tokens only to see them disappear hours later) and all of us veterans never received tokens until recently.
No sour grapes, I really do hope you do receive your tokens, but I am telling you from my experience, even if you do not receive those missing tokens, you will still manage.

Haha, it's not that I "won't manage." I'll just stop playing. This game is a way to blow off steam, I'll be honest if it gets difficult I have better things to do with my life.

Ah but the fun in games lies in the challenge they present. If you can just blow through a game with 0 difficulty what fun is that?

At the moment, it might be a bug / refreshing error.
But, to give you a sneak peek: we are up to remove the 20 tokens for leveling up.
As you and some other encountered, we had several issues with that and also, we think its not the best solution for giving you something to enjoy for free.
We have some work in progress and you can expect a new update very soon!
