fusing items together to get stronger items like mark 1 and 2 to fuse to get 3
or like the galaxus module a b c and get something like this

550 health
200 energy
200 heat
50 cooling
50 regenerate
6 resistance in every category
30 bullets and rockets

There is already that. It's called "CRAFT" where you fuse items. You basically are Trashing what you have to craft another Item that you only get to use for a certain amount of uses.

advice, don't use "CRAFT"
