					| Many people have had their Skype infected, causing it to send out messages such as

Quote: 'is this you in this pic? '
Quote: 'haha, it's not true your photos on fb? '
First things first, DO NOT click any of these links or open their download, or you'll get your Skype infected too.

If you have somehow contracted the infection from somewhere and would like to remove, simply:

 1. Hit Tools
 2. Options
 3. Advanced
 4. Manage other program's access to Skype (bottom of the window)
 5. Disable any API you don't know about.

Yey! Your Skype should now be clean (:

 EDIT:
Hmm, looked into it and the above solve does not work for everybody. System restore may be necessary. (Don't worry, it only rolls back software related changes. All documents etc will remain as they are.

Just search for system restore in your windows.

					| Also in the future, remember, don't look at any pictures that you download. Only look at printscreens from lightshot or gyazo. From there if you want to download the picture or bookmark it and give it a name that is easily identified _________________

Alright so i tried this, and there is nothing at all listed in the API, the only thing i can do is click "Ok" and that just closes the window._________________

					| Sigh. This is all nice and cool but a virus carries more problems then a simple skype api. Or you think they just like to spread a piece of illigal software really wide without ever profiting from it? A system restore isn't perfect either. Far from it. Good viruses these days can even work around it and it can screw up new environments. Instead, download http://malwarebytes.org . Scan your entire computer with it. This program is what your parents pay IT guys 200-300$ for to use and fix a PC. Then download http://free.avg.com and get real time protection for future cases. Both of these programs are completely free. Reinstall skype if it still gives you trouble. Don't forget to change your skype password. https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA95/h ... y-password How on earth is this a world event by the way?_________________
