If I play with the same amount of units like you, for example, you have 10 armored and 20 ranged.I have 10 of each damage,ranged and armored.I WILL WIN! So I think that damage units are important too...

Why would I want to waste damage units when I can kill in one round while only losing armor. Main point is to teach you resource management. Towards the guide itself, it was really amazing I think I covered every point for competitive play. If you are reading this just only recently I suggest using the new alliance orders for everything(scans, battle reports, movement/troop location, focus invade points.)

Guys 10/10/10 still beats other unit set-ups even though you increase the amount proportionally.

Problem is if the opposing army is more than around 30% larger than yours depending on weapon and chassis damage stops being cost effective. Add in spys nukes and massive army sizes and I end up laughing at anyone who uses damage.
