I dont totally disagree with you. I anticipated this kind of a knee jerk reaction. What people need to remember is that none of us are psychic.
For all of the harsh accusations and speculation here, all of these predictions are still only speculation.

Give it time before judging to harshly please.

It is the very reasoning we are using for this change. While we thought it would help non boosters and help bolster competition through these means, historically this has proven to be the opposite of the result. All we have done is concentrated more power around the same amount of players because they no longer compete with eachother so much as they shut most other players out.

Please understand that this is not a decision we made lightly.

the reason there is no competition is because this isnt even a game anymore
its an AUCTION
boosting players r literally able to buy the era
i've said it many times and i'll say it again battledawn IS DIEING and will not last beyond 2016 at BEST

no matter how much skill and advanced tactics i have i am fully handicapped by limited resource while boosters do not have such handicap

I can see the point where non boosters settling for 2nd or 3rd to gather blue. But then, if you don't play seriously, you shouldn't get a reward. Blue is a reward for those who fight and deserve it, not for those who do nothing, sit home and talk to the 1st alliance that they will give them relics and the win.

Needless to say, it's those who think 2nd and 3rd rank as a way to gain blue without doing much thing that are the reason why we settled for this decision. This decision wouldn't have been made if the game had been played like it should have been. As in, everyone aim for the 1st rank, with 2nd and 3rd rank reward as a encouragement for their hard fights.

sadly, nope.

I personally don't like this update, I prefer having a change in the player's mindset, so that everyone would play the game as it's intended to. But sadly it's not that easy. So while I don't like this, I would still prefer this update than doing nothing.

I completely disagree with this, this is exactly how I surpass boosters. The people I watch and consider heavy boosters rarely go after these kinda things and therein lies your advantage.

I still agree with rank 1 alliance only gets rewarded. I'm saying, we should still give incentive for those who can't reach rank 1, to continue striving for something. I was suggesting that we reward individuals for their hard work throughout the round by increasing the individual player's who get rewarded to the top 25 (or whatever we feel is fair). Since the alliance reward seems to be so low, the extra incentive through the individual rank I feel will make up for this. Hell, now that I think about it, why not split it by every 5 ranks, so then there is inner strife in a single alliance to try being a higher individual ranking.
1-5: 1000 blues
6-10: 750 blues (now ranks 4-7 within 1 alliance will most likely be fighting each other to get a higher individual rank).
11-20: 500 blues
20:25: 250 blues

And I kinda agree that there should be some other sources for blue tokens to fill the hole. But, I don't think those ways should be settling for a rank, that be alliance rank or personal rank.

@ All admins - You are telling us to go with this to trust your judgement. Then why can't we trust your judgement to pass out blues to those teams that deserve it? That would solve the issue right there. I trust you to not be biased in handing out blues to the teams to deserve it. It is only you who do not trust your own judgement.

I understand your concern. I see your side, but I dont think anyone here is pausing to see things from our perspective.

While you would think that when we expanded rewards, it would help the non-paying players. When in fact, all it has done was serve to unite more teams of paying players to shut out more non paying players.

Please have just a little faith that we are more than money grubbing trolls out to raid your wallet. This is a decision that was a long time coming. It comes from contemplating the changes in the game that have occured since the YEARS that we implimented them.

No tokens for 2nd and 3rd alliance!
