I think that a 2 tick, 5 player alliance, would have a lot of potential for a fun era... however this is only if the players received notice about this with enough days to develop plans
However, if this is to happen without notice... i would suggest a 1 tick, 12-15 player alliance... The reasoning behind this is that it will make it a bit harder for 6 good players to carry an alliance.. It would be unexpected, and give those in the game a chance to get something together against likely 2 alliances, instead of 3

also the whole point of a custom world is to make it different to the normal servers, its boring to see the same settings every era, maybe thats just me but change is not a bad thing which is why i dont know why many people are voting for 10 man alliance 1 tick.. meh !!!
