Hello!!

It´s not the first time that it happens to me (and lately it happens more frequently), I open 3 gold boxes, 2 of them contain common items that only serve for fusion. The third one a mythic .... how good !! A repair drone ... oh! disappointment.

I have open 5 boxes and no mythical item. A fellow spent 600 tokens for a 3 mythical and got 3 metrolens! An unusable torso that should be out of circulation.

Honestly, I'm sorry, not myself, but people who make a lot of effort to open 1 or 2 boxes and only get these little useful things.

It would be good to improve the contents of the special boxes.

Nancy, they're only gold boxes. They have a 15% chance of getting a mythical item. If you opened 100 of em you'd get 15 mythicals. This is what the mythical boxes are for. More so, wait till there are sales and the chance to get mythicals is doubled.

Im not sure that is working that way. I think every item in the gold box has 15% chance to be a myth. And not the entire box has 15% chance.
Or maybe in the past the first version was the correct but now they changed and the entire box has only 15% chance to give you a myth. And thats why the gold boxes are rubbish these days.

If you opened 100 Gold Boxes, the average number of mythicals you'd get is around 75ish. And if you get below that, then you're under that curve and somewhat to very unlucky. The meta always changes though, so maybe those 'unusable' mythicals now will be once again a popular choice.

And you can still get multiple mythicals per box if you're that lucky, so the '[x]% mythical chance per item' in the box still applies.

I´ve little doubt that the boxes are arranged in some way.

When you need something, many weeks and months to get it. If u don´t believe me, ask those who have been looking for aGod Mode for months.

ex. if the game comes from assembling missile heats, it´s very difficult to get a swarm mark.

At one time we had even discovered a little trick. When we wanted to get a phys or heat item, the previous day we would build up energy mechs. It was more than likely that the other day appear the phys or heat items in boxes. That´s, the system interpreted was the opposite we needed.

It may be only coincidence... but I don´t believe it.

I dont think this is the case at all. Its strictly at random.

Probably this way: 15x5= 75 where the 15% is the chance for the myth and the 5 is the number of items in a gold box. 75% chance to get a myth, so in 100 box its 75. However, its not this simple but it should be close to this number. Im not a master of probability theory so im not gonna try to solve it.
Its way way closer to 75 in 100 box than your 15 in 100 box.

Well, MrOneTwoo kinda got the gist of it. Opening 100 Boxes yields 500 items, and 15% of 500 is 75. (assuming no other determining factors are in play)

How about we multiply the box costs by 10? That will fix everything for sure! (Suggestion for SM team)

This is wrong. To calculate chance of getting a myth you need to take 100%-chance of NOT getting a myth, which is 1-(85/100)^5≈56%
Either OP was really unlucky or they changed the chance of getting a myth. From personal experience gold boxes have always been *CENSORED* if there is no event.
